A community that usually meets in comment sections was suddenly standing together in a shop. For three days, Penguin and Bücherbüchse turned an old store in Munich’s Maxvorstadt into a temporary bookshop: romance, romantasy and dark romance, plus special editions and merch. We were there with our cameras on Friday evening.

On stage: Aspen Skye on writing dark romance, followed by Nicole Böhm and Caroline Brinkmann in conversation with host Thomas Sachsenmaier. In between: signing sessions, packed rows, and a crowd spilling out in front of the shop.

The photos then ran on the publishers’ and authors’ channels, from LinkedIn to Instagram.
