Not every project has to be loud to be important.

When several agencies joined forces to develop a new website for Sehbehindert – aber Richtig e. V. on a pro bono basis, our role was clear: visual support. Authentic and directly on-site, at the association's first second-hand bazaar in Munich-Sendling.

In December, the association organized its first secondhand bazaar. Our task that weekend was to capture the event in all its facets and to document the diversity of encounters. Between lovingly designed bazaar stands and various activities, such as sensory memory games, self-experiences with blindfolds or glasses that simulate visual impairments, and even blind table tennis, visitors were able to experience what everyday life with visual impairments can feel like. With great commitment from the organizers and the participation of visually impaired and blind people, who were open and energetic, the event impressively demonstrated what self-determination means.

Why did we do that?
Because some projects don't come about because of big names but out of genuine conviction and the desire to make something meaningful visible. Sehbehindert – aber Richtig e. V. supports projects for visually impaired and blind young people throughout Germany with such campaigns. It was a no-brainer that we would help to visually support the association's new digital presence with our work – it was a matter of course.
